Saturday - Cloudy and a bit rainy
This was a weirdish day. At least I think so. Read on…
At 6 am this morning, there was a banging on our bedroom door again. K came to check on F again. She was worried about his stomach. He was absolutely fine from last night on! He chased her off. He did have to get up a bit later to make K’s breakfast for her to get ready for the Day Service.
I got myself up around 9 am. F had left the house. I went downstairs and then came back to bed. I watched videos for a while and I was just trying to get a quick nap in before getting up and F came in the room! Oh well. A little later I got up and got dressed. I suggested trying the local Chinese restaurant and F was okay with that.
We went to the restaurant but they weren’t open yet! We killed the next 10 minutes by driving around and then the restaurant opened! We went in and got seated. F had their special of the day, Ebi-chilli, I had a fried chicken set meal. Our meals were good.
When we finished, F drove me downtown to S-Mall. I got out of the car and went in the mall. I mailed my postcards and then went shopping. I visited the Daiso and bought a few things. I thought I might go and sit in the coffee shop and write a letter so I bought some writing paper and later on I got a new pen too.
I visited the grocery store and then decided that I’d like to have an ice cream, so I went to Baskin Robbins. I got to have my favourites today, so that was nice.
I checked out Doutor but it looked really busy. I probably could have found a seat, but I was bored of being in the mall so I decided to leave. I could catch a longer route bus in 5 minutes or I could wait another 20 minutes and I’d be on the bus for less time. I used the washroom in the mall and assumed that I’d miss the closer in time bus. I didn’t. I got on the bus and a couple of seconds it left the bus station.
Then, F called me. He had arrived at the mall to pick me up. I texted him that I was on the bus and that I’d be back at the house in about 30 minutes! I enjoyed the rest of the ride back to the house.
When I got back to the house it was so hot inside. F hadn’t turned on the AC. He turned it on for me. We chatted for a while and relaxed. It was nice and friendly. I went upstairs around 3:30 and then F followed a little later. He snoozed a bit, I was on my computer. I sent him downstairs to welcome his mother back.
F decided to make dinner tonight. He had received what I call Funeral Food today at the Funeral event. Around here, they give huge bentos to the attendees. He brought it to the house and wanted to eat it. I suggested he give it to K, but he wanted us all to have it.
For dinner tonight F made cold udon noodles and we had that with the bento food. We split it up fairly well. I didn’t want a lot of the stuff anyway, and I liked the stuff the F didn’t like so it worked out.
After dinner, I gave F a hand with the dishes and we got them done fairly quickly. I went upstairs and F stayed downstairs with K. He was watching some sports on TV. Baseball I think. Yuck.
Upstairs I relaxed and watched some YouTube. I wrote my bestie a letter and also wrote a card for my niece who is having a birthday next month.
F came upstairs and asked if I wanted to go anywhere. Nope. I was sitting around in my pjs! I did go downstairs and I took a shower. That was nice.
I came back up to the room and watched FBI. Tonight was about a bomber being smuggled into the US. It was okay.
F and I had a quiet evening. We chatted off and on, he snoozed and then I turned off his light. He did wake up, but I think he’s gone to bed.
I’m not really sure what we’ll get up to tomorrow. I’m hoping that we’ll have a good day, but that does somewhat depend on the weather too.
