Rainy and hot. Bleck.

Yesterday I got up hours earlier than normal and stayed up. Today was the opposite! I got up when my alarm rang, checked for news (baseball instead) and promptly fell asleep on the couch. I woke up about 3 hours later. Oh my goodness.

I had coffee and did some of my computer stuff, then I decided to shower and go out. I showered and then took Katie's present to the post office. I came back home afterwards. I had wanted to get my hair cut today but decided that even if I could get in, my clothes would be all wet and I didn't want to sit in them for the hour or so that it takes for my hair cut. So, no cut today. Oh well.

At home I vegged a bit more, watched some TV and basically enjoyed my day off.

After F came home we went out for dinner to the okonomiyaki place near our apartment. We had my favourite, curry cheese and also a shrimp one. we also had cold tomato as an appetizer. It was good. I was trying to imagine how to make okonomiyaki in Canada for my family, but it was a little difficult. Of course I can get cabbage, but I'm not sure about yakisoba noodles...fresh ones, not the dried ones. Anyway, I don't suppose I'll have time to cook while F is still there.

We bought groceries for tomorrow night's dinner. I think I'm going to make my crustless quiche...might serve it with hash browns or something, since I forgot to buy salad!

Had a quiet night at home. We watched most of King Arthur, the not very good "update" of the King Arthur story. The story was terrible, the acting was good...mostly British actors. Clive Owen is quite something. He's approaching Jason Statham status in my mind, but he can actually act!

That's about it. I've got to go back to work tomorrow...just one class, but he skipped a week so I'll have to review a bit more. Wish me luck!

Night.

You know, last time you blogged about the crustless quiche, it was the first time I had ever heard of it. Recently I made one for the first time and it was beaut!

Yasu and I really enjoyed it. So thanks for opening my eyes to a new style of cooking. It's a great way to enjoy a meal even when I can't be bothered making the crust. :)

I'm glad that you liked it! I used to do low carb dieting, and that was one way that I could have quiche, which I love. I just wish I could get really nice cheese without breaking the bank! It's all a little tasteless here.

That's a bummer about the cheese. You can't get any good stuff at FBC?

Probably can, just can't really be bothered, plus it is expensive. I never plan that far ahead.
