Saturday - Rainy all day.

A good day.

I stayed up to an insane time last night watching the finale of Twin Peaks. I realised about 30 minutes into the last episode that I was getting more and more apprehensive and by the end of the episode I was quite freaked out. I had forgotten how intense it is, and had forgotten that I don’t always do well with these kinds of things. There were lots of weird David Lynchian touches and outlandish things. Anyway, I was freaked out. I went to bed as soon as the show finished and when I got into bed, F grabbed my hand. I started shaking and he wondered why. I was laughing because it was either that or start screaming!

We got up this morning. F was out early going to the doctor’s office, I was up a bit later to take a shower and get dressed. I watched Medium this morning and then we went out for lunch. Today we went over to Sukaze, a restaurant near city hall. It was okay.

After lunch we came home and I got a few things ready for later. F went out to run an errand and I took a nap. Now, I did set my alarm to get up after 30 minutes, but just before the alarm went off, F came for a nap too. I let the snooze run for a while and before I knew it an extra hour had passed. I was having a cool dream, so I think that’s why I couldn’t wake up. That’s my excuse for today.

I got up, got ready, and so did F. He waited for quite a while before he got ready though. I was a bit annoyed with him, but then again, it doesn’t take him long to get ready. I had to do hair and make up, then get dressed. The taxi arrived on time, so we took it over to the Grand El Son for my ex-student’s wedding.
F and I didn’t know anybody at the wedding! It was a little sad. We only knew the bride. Still, we had quite a nice time, so it wasn’t too bad. I couldn’t understand most of it of course, but that’s not too important. Afterwards, it seemed more like people left to go back to hotels or on buses, so there didn’t seem to be a second party. I was rather sad about that.

We went home by taxi, and since it was raining, that was where we stayed.

We had a quiet evening together, at midnight we watched Top Gear which was crazy dumb. The guys were driving in the US but they weren’t allowed to be entertaining, just factual. After the show finished, Heroes was up and it was an odd one. Kind of a flashback show. Still, good. We’re now watching old American Idol episodes that F put on the DVR.

Anyway, that was it for my day. I think we’ll be getting to bed soon. I’m a tad tired and so is F, although he’ll never admit it!

Catch you tomorrow? Night.

Attending such a wedding party sounds nice. Unfortunately you didn't other attendace, but you had a chacne "to wear wonderful clothes". --- We (my husband and I) seldom have such a chance. Both of you look cool, and are a wonderful couple, aren't you.

Thanks Mieko! It was nice to get dressed up with my hubby for a change. He has become a jeans and casual shirt guy lately, but looks quite nice all dressed up! I hoped to get a good picture taken of us, but this was the best I could do.

We don't get invited to many weddings so this was a nice treat.

Thanks for commenting :-)
