Wednesday - Sunny and warm

A good day. I slept a little late, but got up before it was horrible! I had a quiet morning, didn’t do a lot to be honest. I relaxed, read the paper and then checked out my computer sites I need to visit.

In the afternoon I watched Tequilla Sunrise. That was a good Mel Gibson movie in the days when he wasn’t terribly strange and I was madly in love with him. After that, it was a Cold Case episode for me.

A little before F came home I decided to tackle the last of my “loot” from my MIL’s house. Most of the clothes that I brought over still fit me, although there is one dress that I really shouldn’t sit down in if I wear it! I’ll wash some of the clothes and then put them in my clothing rotation.

This evening we went out for keiten sushi to our usual place in Tsuruoka. It wasn’t too busy and was quite nice. We had to order a lot of our sushi though, as the stuff I like wasn’t coming round much.

There will soon be a new keiten sushi place in Tsuruoka, a national chain, known for cheap sushi and little trains. I’m quite worried because we already have 4 keiten sushi restaurants in our little city. I thought fish was endangered and the price is going to rise soon? Hmm.

We came home via the grocery store. I’m going to make another stew tomorrow. I think I might be a bit sneaky about the whole thing and might make it early in the day and then put it in my slow cooker to stay warm. I”m not completely sure though.

At home, we watched an episode of Brisco County Jr…Love that show, and then The Green Mile came on. We watched that and it was sad and funny and scary as always. F had seen it before, but he was all over our chesterfield, he was like a big kid trying to hide from the unpleasant scenes. It ended around 1, I had forgotten how long that film is, so F took a shower and went to bed.

He’s up again as I write this, he’s been reading in bed and will hopefully get some sleep now.

I’ll hopefully get some sleep soon too. That’s it for me. A slow but quiet and good day. Night!

Glad that it's finally "summer" I think! Rainy season here but hasn't rained much since it officially became so... LOL!

Same here! We haven't had a lot of rain since it officially started. I'm not complaining mind you, but I'm not looking forward to the heat this year.
I think there'll be a melted pile of gooey Helen on the floor!

Thanks for visiting :-)
