Wednesday - Sunny and warm

A good day today.

I slept in, but today I did it on purpose and I didn’t have any classes, so it didn’t matter, right? When I got up, I watched nothing for a while and then The West Wing. After a while, I watched a bit of a Diane Lane movie where she got very naked with Viggo Mortenson. It was an interesting film, not because of the nudity, but the time and place, and the actors. Quite good really.

F came home for a few minutes which annoyed me a bit. He decided to take the rest of the day off and out of that time go and see a doctor. He went and was gone for quite a while.

When he came back, I was getting ready to go and mail a package at the post office. He offered to take me, so I let him. We went to the local post office and he bought more stamps there too. After the post office we went to Mr Donut for a drink and a doughnut, then went to the grocery store nearby for a few things for dinner.

We came home again and after a while I cooked dinner. It wasn’t anything too difficult tonight, just fresh pasta and a bottled sauce, with a bought salad on the side, but it was nice. F did the dishes afterwards and then settled in to do a bit of work for me.

At 11 I watched Grey’s Anatomy and did a bit on my shawl. I was right, by the time I finish it, the weather will be too cold to wear it! Grey’s was pretty good tonight too, they finally got Christina back to the operating room again. Yeah! That was one storyline that was just too drawn out.

Other things from today. This morning, I woke up with a horrid and huge pimple right under my nose in that little indent between one’s nose and mouth. It was painful too. It was white and it seemed to me that it was pulsing ominously. “Disgusting”, as my niece would say! Thankfully over the course of the day it has stopped hurting and the swelling has gone down, as has the colour.

On the nice side, I got another postcard today. Today’s is from the US, so I think I’m at 2 this week already. F has got at least one this week as well. I did send a postcard too, which was fun. I sent a little bit different one for a change.
