Wednesday - Warm and sunny, rainy at night
A good but quiet day.
I got up, rewatched Grey’s Anatomy and some TV I had taped last night. I also watched an Antonio Banderas film on NHK about ballroom dancing at an inner city school. I’m such a sucker for movies with dancing. Banderas isn’t quite up to Paul Mercurio’s level, but he’s not bad! The accent doesn’t hurt either.
In the afternoon I wrote up a couple of postcards and sent them out. They are off to Germany and the US. Hopefully they’ll arrive there soon. I received 3 cards in the mail today, they are posted below this entry. Feel free to check them out!
When F came home tonight he got changed and made dinner. It was a nabe, so not too much work for him. We ate and it was really good. We’d bought a store broth for it last night and it was yummy. It was the hacksai flavoured one.
I did the dishes and then we settled in for a quiet night. We watched Grey’s again at 11, well, I did and worked on my crochet. The edging bit isn’t working out at all. Boo!
That’s about it for me. Tomorrow is a national holiday so we might go and see a movie or something. We don’t have any serious set-in-stone plans yet. Come back tomorrow and see what we ended up doing. Night.

I watched that Banderas movie. I almost turned it off because it seemed so typical of the Troubled Inner City Youth type Hollywood movie, but I couldn't take my eyes off Banderas, too sexy. I really want to watch the documentary "Mad Hot Ballroom" about the real ballroom dance teacher who started those classes in schools.
Yes, he is quite hot isn't he? I first saw him in "Women on the Edge of a Nervous Breakdown" and thought he was terribly cute, but he's just gotten better and better with age.
I've heard of the documentary, but haven't seen it either.
Thanks for commenting!
