Monday - Sunny and clear in the daytime, rainy at night
An okay day.
I got up at a reasonable time this morning and stayed up. I watched a bit of TV that I had taped over the weekend, then The West Wing and a few other things. I had planned to go to the post office, but I got caught up in doing things for my women’s group and never did go out in the daytime.
When F came home he was a bit of a grump. I think he was tired and didn’t really feel like doing anything. I asked him where he wanted to go out and he threw the question back on me. I ended up suggesting going to Yamaya for some foreign foods and some spices, then going to Moku-Moku for dinner. It’s close to the store.
We did that and I managed to get all of my spices at Yamaya. Now I’m going to have to try and make some chai! We picked up some Canadian mayo too. I haven’t seen it up here for about a year. Yay! And those big hard pretzels that we both like.
Dinner at Moku-Moku was fine. I had pasta again, salmon cheese-cream spaghetti with salad and drink bar, F had a Japanese set meal of fried shrimp. He said it was good.
We then made a quick run to my school to set the heater for tomorrow, followed by a brief run through the grocery store for a few perishables. Then home!
I watched a bit of TV and even went over to the chesterfield for a bit to crochet. I’m starting to really enjoy getting away from my computer for an hour. My afghan is getting bigger too, so that’s another benefit!
F was in a strange mood tonight and wouldn’t talk. I noticed when I tried to talk to him that he had one earphone on and was messing about on his computer. He didn’t really want to listen to me, so I just stopped talking too.
That sad to say, is really all that happened here tonight. It was quite a quiet day. I did manage to get most of the things for my women’s group done and that is a huge weight off my shoulders. The rest of the month I’ll be running around and won’t have a lot of free time to deal with it. Anyway, I must get off my computer now. Night!
