Sunday - rainy and cold

A not great day.

I got up this morning when the bread maker rang its bell.  I had been up a little bit earlier and had put out the cooling rack and the oven mitts for it.  I put the bread out and waited for a bit.  F cut the bread and we had some. It was very nice.  The brioche was yummy.

We spent the next couple of hours annoying each other.  F tried to book a trip for us, then wanted to go out for lunch. I had been waiting for him to go out, but he said he was waiting for me.  Just irritating.  As usual, he wanted ramen and I didn’t.  He ended up storming out for some ramen and I wasn’t invited. I stayed home and had an omelette.

He came home a few couple of hours later and I basically demanded that he take me out shopping.  I had told him that I wanted to go shopping in the mall, he’d just “forgotten”. He wasn’t upset, he quite happily drove me out there.  On the way he lamented that he didn’t get his hair cut this weekend, but I reminded him that there’s a branch of the place he goes near the mall. I suggested that he drop me off to go shopping while he get his hair cut.  That’s what we did.

I got busy when I got out of the car.  I managed to find some nice stuff for my family members and picked it all up.  Yay for me.  I had been shopping for a while when my phone rang.  F was in the mall.  I met him and we had a drink at Mr. Donut.

We went home and F did a lot of putzing around. He watched a show about a Japanese actress that just died.  Finally I got him interested in dinner.

We went out.  The first place we looked at was closed, and the second place was open.  However, I’d told F it was okay, but I’d mixed up the place. I thought he wanted to go to an izakaya near our apartment,  but he wanted to go to a soba chain quite far away. Big difference.  I’d told him it was okay, so we went.  It was okay.  Kind of blah if I’m honest.

We got groceries for dinner tomorrow and then came home.  F decided to make bread for tomorrow, so he set up the bread maker and then started it.  Sadly, he didn’t set the timer, so it’s going to be ready at 4:23 in the morning.  I don’t know why he did that.  It’s quite dopey!

That’s about it for today.  My arm is still sore and the red circle has grown larger.  It’s also really hot around the injection point.  Sigh.  I think it has made me grouchier than usual!

Anyway, I’m planning to get to bed early tonight as I’m rather tired.  I know it’s an unusual thing for me, but I’ve got to do what feels right.  Talk to you later.  Night.
