Monday - Cool, clear and then rainy at night

A good day.

Last night, F set the bread maker to make bread at 4:23 in the morning.  I went to bed before him last night as I was really tired.  For some reason I woke up at 4:10 this morning, but F was still sleeping.  I got up and decided that I’d stay up and take the bread out.   I did that, and then I went back to bed and sleep.

This morning F got up and made a lot of noise!  His lamp fell off the bedstead and he forgot to turn off his alarm clock.  I wasn’t best pleased really.

When I got up, I watched House and had some breakfast. I had my usual yogurt, some blueberry juice and a slice of the lovely whole wheat bread.  Yum.  F visited to pick something up, but didn’t stay.

I had a quiet morning and early afternoon.  Truth be told, I sort of fell asleep at my computer.  I did a couple of loads of laundry and then vacuumed the apartment. It was in desperate need.  I was thinking up names for the dust bunnies.  

F came home and putzed around a bit after work.  He didn’t start preparing dinner until after 7 pm.  Still, there wasn’t that much to do as we’d bought a lot of prepared nabe stuff.  I had taken the nabe out and washed it earlier too.  Dinner was good. We had it with some Earl Grey tea.

Just after dinner, I got a phone call, so F did the dishes.  It was my turn, so it was nice of him.  I talked to the person for a while and then rang off.  I spent quite a bit of time this evening emailing people and relaying messages and such.  It was exciting in a small way.

Around 10 pm I decided that I was going to make a loaf of bread for tomorrow.  Since I had leftover tea, I would make a tea loaf and put some walnuts in it.  And that’s what I did.  I did a quick loaf, with a bit of help and hindrance from F.  It baked away and smelt gorgeous.  We each had a piece when it came out of the maker and it was lovely. Yummmmm.

And that’s about it for my day.  It was a pretty good day, even though I didn’t go out at all.  I got quite a few things done and some of my women’s group things accomplished so I feel quite good about it all.  Tomorrow I have an afternoon class and then I’m not sure what will happen.  Come back tomorrow and find out.  Night!
