Thursday - Rainy with some clear patches

A good day.

I slept in a little late this morning, but was up earlier than yesterday!  I watched Gilmore Girls, ate breakfast, read the paper and then showered.

I watched a lot of TV in the afternoon, but also scanned some cards.  Finally I went out to mail them and to do a little shopping.  I got to the post office and bought a stamp, then when I came back out it was pouring!  I decided I’d get wet anyway, so I might as well go to the convenience store and grab a sandwich since I hadn’t eaten lunch.

I biked there, went in, and when I came out the rain had stopped!  I decided to just keep going on my shopping trip and biked off to a store I wanted to look at.  I was looking for Christmas cards and I found some.  They weren’t cheap like I’d seen in the mall, but they were really nice, quite Japanese and I liked them a lot. The price was very reasonable.  I bought a few and then came back home. It was dark by now but I took my time.

F came home soon after and we relaxed for a bit.  Then we went for dinner to the Sweeney Todd Restaurant.  The surprising thing was that tonight there were other customers.  We’ve been there about 5 times now, and this was the only time there were customers.  I guess we should stop calling it the Sweeney Todd Restaurant!

We just came home afterwards and watched a bit of TV.  I did a couple of rows of crochet during The Good Wife.  It was lovely.  I measured my blanket with F and it is long enough finally!  I’ll do the last two rows to finish the pattern and then I’ll try and do an edging to give it a bit of a finished look.

That’s about it for my day. I’m presently watching The Last King of Scotland. It’s really good, but really scary too.  I’ll go to bed soon.  F should, but he’s fast asleep on the couch.  That’s it for me.  Night!

We'll have winter soon enough! We'll likely have a little snow by the end of the month and December often has crazy amounts of snow.

I like scary movies...I'm going to look for that one ;)

Oh, it's scary because it is a true story, the story of Idi Amin in Uganda. There were some really horrible things going on there.

If it was a made up story it would have been scary and fun, but as it was, it was quite horrible.
