Tuesday - Cloudy and cool
Happy Birthday to me!
A good day.
I got up on time this morning, watched a little TV and then showered. I had a relaxing morning. I ate some of F’s lovely cocoa bread, had some yogurt and tea and opened my presents from my sister and her family. It was fun. I got a magazine, some Kraft Dinner and some gravy packets! I also got a new top. It’s interesting…apparently it was my niece’s pick for me. I like it, just think I might shock a few of the old ladies around Tsuruoka when I wear it!
Around 2:30 I started my lunch. I had leftovers from yesterday and they were really yummy. I enjoyed lunch a lot. I washed the dishes and was out the door around quarter to 4.
I rode my bike to my school today and was able to ride most of the way! Yes. I still had to walk part of the way, but it wasn’t too bad. I got to my school and I was just starting to get changed when my cellphone rang. My student cancelled her class. Sigh. I usually stay at the school for the length of time of the missed class, but today we had dinner plans. Also, my bike is heavy and I didn’t want to make F put it into his car, so I decided to just go home.
I made it home rather quickly, and did a little bit of snow shovelling in F’s parking space. Actually, it was more ice than snow! I moved quite a bit of it.
F came home and we got ready to go out. We drove out to Mikawa and had a fabulous dinner at Bistro Des Pointes. We haven’t been there in ages, and now I’m wondering why! Our main course was Canadian beef tongue stew and it was amazing. Along the way we had a fish like salmon with salad, sweet potato potage, and marinated sashimi. Our dessert was a crepe with apricot and some ice cream too. My ice cream had a sparkler in it when they brought it out. How cool is that?
We came home after dinner and relaxed together for a while. We watched a little TV, and F went to bed a bit late, and I stayed up a bit later. Much later really!
Tomorrow I don’t have any plans yet, but I might get up to something, hopefully! That’s it for now. Night!

Happy Birthday Helen!
Happy Birthday! Is your niece's shirt going to help you flash some cleavage at the good citizens of Tsuruoka? Lol!
Crisis is Over...Hey there! I've missed you! Thank you.
Rosa...a little cleavage, plus back cleavage and part of my arms too. It has cut outs on the arms and a tear drop slit in the back! I always get told off for wearing short sleeves in winter, I think people would have fits if I wore that in February!
Thanks for the birthday wishes !
A sparkler for a sparkly gal, what a nice treat! Happy birthday to you!
Thank you! :-)
Happy belated birthday!
Thanks! I appreciate it :-)
Happy Belated Birthday! I've been lost in a menopause fog lately and have not been blog-hopping, I am so sorry! It sounds like you had a nice birthday celebration, I'm glad!
Thank you Connie! It was a lovely day. :-)
