Wednesday - Cold and windy at night.

A quiet day.

I overslept on purpose this morning, but wasn’t too broken up about it.  I just didn’t see the point of getting up, although I probably should have.  When I did get up I watched my morning TV shows and had breakfast around 10 as usual.

After breakfast I worked on my column and in a final push, finally finished it.  It took a few tries and a few passes of it before I sent it off.  I’m done and I’m so very glad.

F came home a little late from work today and we decided to go to Coco’s Ichibanya and have Grandmother’s curry.  Unfortunately, they didn’t have it anymore and we had to pick and choose carefully since they were out of many foods.  I ended up getting a beef curry with a whole onion in it.  I liked it more than I thought I would.

We came back to the house and although I planned to take a shower, I ended up doing the garbage for F to take out in the morning, then I finally did the shower thing.  It was nice.
The wind is very strong tonight and we’re under a bit of a storm watch.  I hope it’ll be okay.

That’s going to have to be all of my report for today. I can barely keep my eyes open.  Come back tomorrow and see what I get up to.  Until tomorrow….

Sounds like a bit of post-holiday blues! Better to ease back into the daily grind...

I'm fascinated by this whole onion curry. Was it literally an entire cooked onion covered in curry? Was it chopped up? I love onions and might have to recreate this dish!

I'm actually feeling a bit worse today so I may have picked something bad up on the weekend or trip back.

The curry was good! I found you the page on their website so you can see it. It's a whole onion, rather good.

http://www.ichibanya.co.jp/menu/detail.html?id=474 You might have to copy and paste it. I had mine with scrambled eggs on the rice...

Thanks for visiting!

Oh no! Well, I'm sure you know the drill: Lots of rest, fluids, and bad TV and you'll be right as rain in no time!

Thanks for the link. That looks amazing! I'm an onion lover from way back...
