Wednesday - Hot and Sunny.  Yawn.

A good day.

I did wake up this morning but had a hard time staying awake.  I got up around 8, watched the news and afterwards snoozed until 9. I got dressed and on with my day then. I watched a bit of telly as is my wont and then went downstairs to grab breakfast.  I came back upstairs to eat.

It was very hot in my room today…at one point the thermometer said that it was 32 degrees.  F has given me the okay to use the air conditioner, but I really try not to. I have a fan going most of the time and that helps, and the windows open to catch breezes, but still it is so hot.  

I watched part of a movie this afternoon, most of it honestly, but ran out of time. I’m doing research for my next column. I’m really enjoying doing this one. I hope the writing part goes as well.  While I watched the film I darned in some ends on my squares. Hurray for me.

I went downstairs and washed the dishes, and also cleaned the tank for ice water in the fridge.  I don’t know if anyone else ever does it.  I gave K some iced coffee again and took some myself.  

F didn’t have to work very late today and of course, wanted to go to the onsen.  Yawn.  I said I’d go with him for the air conditioning and the free wifi!  We picked up a few groceries first and then went to Yupoka.  Once there, I got myself a drink and found a corner with a table.  I ripped back the squares I had joined last night as I wasn’t too happy with them. I redid the joins and it does look a little better.

F and I did think about going to the onsen’s restaurant for dinner, but we decided to go to Gusto instead.  I was glad really.  

Gusto was fairly busy, but we got a table.  F had unagi (eel) and complained about it, I had yurinchi which is a type of crispy fried chicken.  It was okay, but a little greasy.  We both had drink bar which was nice in the heat.

After our meal, we just came back to the house. I spent a bit of time getting the garbage ready to go out tomorrow.  F and I came upstairs and had a quiet evening in. I watched a couple of TV shows and caught up on my blogging and reading.

I have no plans for tomorrow really. I would like to finish my movie, maybe start another one, and do more darning on my crochet, or joining! Whichever one I feel more like doing will win.  Come back and see which it is.  Until tomorrow….
