Tuesday - Sunny, with some rain
I woke up when F left for work and bade him a sleepy goodbye. I slept on for a bit but did get up around 8. I watched the news from my bed and got up after that. I had a quiet morning today and it was good for me.
The rest of the day passed quietly. I did see K but didn’t have a lot of interaction with her. I wasn’t feeling well this afternoon, I had some stomach troubles and that made me a bit cautious about everything.
I finished and polished my Journal article and sent it in. I hope that the Editor received it. It went quite well, I hope other people think so too.
F called around 5 to say he’d be late, and he was a bit. He showed up around 6:30 with some food. We were going to make dinner, the two of us!
I made guacamole with spices from a packet, while F did some other cooking. He microwaved the food, I set the table. We had a nice little feast. F had made onions stuffed with corned beef, there was bought chawanmushi and my guacamole and some chips too. Most of the food disappeared and was good. F’s dish was much nicer than it probably sounds.
We did the dishes after dinner and then the two of us went out. We went for some wifi and coffee, then hit up the grocery store for food. I’m probably going to make dinner tomorrow night. I’m a tad worried if my stomach will be okay for it or not.
That’s about it. It was a peaceful day, and a quiet one, so I’m happy. Tomorrow I need to do things like laundry and prep for dinner. Wish me luck with that! Until tomorrow….
