Wednesday - Cloudy but warm

I got up this morning, watched the news and then took a bit of a nap. Oops.  I got dressed and went downstairs to grab my breakfast.  I had a bit of a quiet morning, but around noon, I went outside! 

I went out to the garage and checked out my bike. I blew up the bike tires and then on my way out of the garage, I noticed the solar lights that we had around the garden last year. I decided to put them out again. It took a little while and the garage door came off the track so I had to fix it. Unfortunately, K came outside and wouldn’t get out of the way! Luckily for me, a lady came by on a bicycle and talked to K so while they were together, I managed to get the door back in the place.

When I went inside and after I washed my hands, I decided to offer K some lunch. She said yes, so I heated up some rice and the curry from yesterday for her. I gave her the leftover jelly from yesterday too.

I took the leftover leftover curry upstairs with me and ate that. After that, I watched a bit of TV off the DVR.

I had a proper lunch a bit later.  I had a good afternoon, but a quiet one.

I went downstairs after 5 pm and did my dishes. I also got a start on dinner. F called to say he was on his way and I kicked up dinner-making a notch. 

Tonight, we had garlic shrimp, onion salad, roasted asparagus, and gnocchi with cheese sauce.  It was good, but I did worry that there wasn’t enough food. After dinner, I cleared the table and did most of the dishes before F came through and did the rest. 

After we finished, we went upstairs and got ready to go out. We went to the grocery store and picked up food for the next couple of days.  After that, we went to the drugstore to pick up a few things. 

We came back to the house and put the groceries away. I watched Project Runway, the new one again. This time I actually watched it! F took a shower and a little later I did too. Before I showered, I did up the garbage for F to take out in the morning, plus cleaned the kitchen sink a bit for good measure!

I basically relaxed tonight. I’ve been watching a UK show called “Snog, Marry, Avoid?” which takes women and performs make-unders! Basically, they take up overdone women, clean off the makeup, change their hair and see if they prefer it. People looked so much better afterwards, generally!

Anyway, that’s it for me today.  I’ll be cooking tomorrow, but I hope to be able to go out in the afternoon for a bit. Wish me luck with that! Come back later if you will and see how my day went. Until tomorrow….
