Sunday - Cloudy and cooler all day
I woke up this morning near my usual time, went downstairs and then went back to sleep. I slept until 11:00, got up for a few minutes and then went back to sleep again. F woke me up around 12 and wouldn’t let me sleep more. We ordered take-out from the restaurant that we often go to on Sunday’s and then went to pick it up.
We all had chicken soboro and it was really good. F had to have his miso soup with it too, but I didn’t. I don’t think he was too happy about that, but I didn’t need any.
We had a quiet afternoon. F went back to bed and slept I think, I stayed up and used my computer for a while.
Around 6:30 or so, we went out to do our grocery shopping. We picked up things for a few nights of meals and a few lunches for me too. F picked up a couple of bentos for him and K, I skipped the bento thing and got a bit of grilled chicken, and a bun thing.
When we got back to the house F put away a lot of the stuff without me (grrr) and then we heated up the food for tonight. Dinner was okay. K liked her bento so F did a good job. I had my chicken with last night’s leftover salad. K drank a lot of mugicha with dinner tonight. She almost never wants more to drink, but tonight I filled up her glass at least 3 times!
After dinner, I ended up doing the dishes and the bento cases while F did a bunk. It’s so funny how he just disappears right after meals. I didn’t care too much tonight as there was a lot to do, but it is starting to be a habit.
This evening was a bit of a downer. I didn’t watch any TV at all, haven’t even turned it on today at all! F took a shower, then I did. F is not feeling well at the moment, keeps thinking that he has the dread virus, but I remind him that his temperature isn’t very high. (Since there weren’t any cases in Yamagata prefecture until just recently, the chances that he has it are slim in my opinion.)
That’s about it for today. Tomorrow I need to get started on my next movie column. I have a few ideas kicking around my head, but I’ll probably come up with something else when I look at my blank page!
