Sunday - Cloudy and Cooler

I went to bed terribly late last night, so I wanted to sleep in this morning. I woke up once, went downstairs and then came back and went back to sleep. I woke up again around 11 am and stayed up this time. F had been downstairs and then stayed to watch TV. When he was finished, he came upstairs and we had a bit of a snuggle for a while.

Finally, around 2 I asked if we could go to Arpeggio for lunch and he said yes.  We went there and it wasn’t busy. Hurray. F had fish and I had my usual soboru and I really liked it. 

After our meal, I wasn’t sure what we’d do. F drove us up the street past the place where I worked a couple of months ago. I was wondering what was going on with them. It looks like they are up and running. Good for them. 

We ran a few errands. We went to a drugstore for Fumihiko. I picked up some detergent and washing up liquid. F took us out to Kushibiki to the hardware shop. We looked for plant pots, but F didn’t find any he wanted. We came back into Tsuruoka and found some at Daiso, after hitting up a hardware shop in the same shop complex. We also visited Cafe Heart and Peace for something to drink. F had chocolate milk and I had a Pineapple squash which I really, really liked. I am not usually into fruit drinks, but this was nice. 

F and I came back to the house and relaxed for a bit. Around 6 or so, I suggested to F that we take his mother out for dinner. I even gave him a couple of choices for places and he picked one of them. We went back to Kushibiki with her and had a nice meal out. K had corn ramen and F had mabo-ramen. I had mabo-yakisoba and I liked it. K gave about half of her ramen to F and he was rather stuffed! We also had an order of harumaki. That was nice but really we didn’t need them. 

We came back to the house and F let K back in the house and settled her in for the night. He came back to the car and we went off to the grocery store. 

We picked up a few things for dinner tomorrow night and then came back to the house. 

I put the groceries away while F took care of a few things outside. We came upstairs and relaxed for a bit. Around 10 pm I took a shower and then came back to the room. I watched Project Runway when it was on and mostly agreed with the verdict on the show.  F went to sleep around the end of the show and he’s off in Dreamland now. 

So tomorrow I’m back to the old schedule except  Tuesday and Wednesday will be a bit different this week. You’ll have to come back and find out why! Until tomorrow….
