Wednesday - Warm and Sunny
I got to bed late again last night, so I didn’t wake up when F left this morning. When I got up, I went downstairs then came back up and watched the news from the bed. I dozed a bit but woke up when the “Piano Show” came on the channel.
I did a load of towels today and hung them up in my room. I really had a quiet day today. It’s a bit sad to admit that.
I watched some YouTube early in the day. I was sleepy and really wanted to take a nap, but I didn’t. Woot!
When it was lunchtime, I went downstairs and got my lunch ready. I had some of my usual and then used a pita bread from Monday and some of the leftover chicken. I made a couple of sandwiches out of chicken and pita bread. I plated one for K and kept one for myself. Lunch was good!
Upstairs again, I watched the early morning news and then an episode of The Walking Dead (of course!) It was an episode about Maggie and Carol. The character of Carol is really cool. She has really become a powerful person, but she likes to fly under the radar and let people underestimate her.
I watched the news and then went downstairs to get a start on dinner. I was making a stir-fry so there was a lot of veggie prep to do. I made a cucumber pickle thing, cut up veggies and defrosted the seafood. F came back around 6:30 but said he was waiting for a phone call. Okay then.
I finally got everything ready and on the table a bit late. It was quarter to eight when we all sat down. K and I were there long before F made his appearance.
I thought dinner was good, and K said she liked it. I had to ask F if he liked his. He said he did. After we ate, I got to do all the clean-up again. Sigh. I did dishes and cleaned the stovetop. I listened to the Canadian news and then the rest of Kermode and Mayo. They picked the Corner Gas Movie to represent Saskatchewan and I couldn’t be happier about it! I love Corner Gas!
I went upstairs and changed and then we went out to the grocery store. Unfortunately, F brought up our last doctor’s visit. Apparently, while I was off getting a blood test, the doctor discussed my health with him. We had words and he told me I was stupid. Thanks, buddy. The rest of the shopping trip wasn’t very good. I basically haven’t talked to him for the rest of the evening. He’s in bed early with the lights off.
I put away the groceries…it was nice to be able to do it for a change. I went upstairs and waited for him to finish downstairs. I have no idea if he did or not. I watched The Bold Type at 11 pm and when it was over I took my shower. I had planned to be earlier, but someone was doing laundry and stuff.
So that’s about it for my day. It was fairly good until F became a bonehead. I hope he smartens up tomorrow.
