Thursday - Hot, sunny, and humid

I woke up this morning when F came back into the room to find his phone. How many mornings has this happened? Happily, today he found it quite quickly and was on his way. 

I got up a bit late today, but I watched the news and the end of Knives Out this morning. It was fun to watch it again. I got up and went downstairs and grabbed my breakfast. 

I came back upstairs, ate my breakfast and then got started on my lesson plan. I got it planned, printed out and then put away in my bag. It took a while, but no matter.

I had lunch and also watched an episode of The Walking Dead. Two people died, I was only sorry about one of them. The plot is moving along, and a lot of people were in this episode, so it was rather interesting!

I watched the news and then waited for F to call. He called around 5:30 so I went downstairs to start dinner. I was a tad bit later though. 

Tonight’s dinner was good, and a bit of work. I made anchovy potatoes, cucumber pickles (2 kinds), fried mushrooms and heated up some chicken nuggets. We had a nice salad on the side too. Dinner was really nice. K and I ate quite a bit, F only had a little. Sigh.

I did all the dishes and listened to my news podcast and then finished up The Secret Garden. I enjoyed listening to this book so much! It has been far too long since I read it. 

F and I went out to get groceries. I got most of the stuff I need for my pasta salad. I’m going to make it tomorrow and have some of it for dinner tomorrow night I think. I just hope that K doesn’t go too crazy over it. She’s been eating a lot recently.

We came back to the house and then came upstairs after putting away the groceries. I relaxed and watched a couple of shows tonight. Leonardo finished tonight and was okay, then I watched something from last week too. 

I’ve got a column to write and I’m just not sure that I’m going to get it done in time. Preparing for my classes is taking a long time and writing my column takes a long time too. Deep breath. There are a couple of holidays next week which really cuts into my writing/planning time too. If I finish my lesson planning next week I can hopefully work on it then.
