 Wednesday - Rainy and hot, oh so humid!

I woke up this morning when F started walking on the bed to try to find something. I don’t know why he can’t put his stuff together the night before. He’d rather panic and wake me up every morning. Ack.

I went back to bed and slept quite late. I had turned off my alarms on purpose.  I did get up finally and grabbed my breakfast and watched Shameless from last night.

I had a quiet day. I didn’t see K very much at all. It was so humid and hot in the bedroom that I turned on the air conditioner. It helped it become livable in here. 

I had lunch a bit late and watched an episode of The Walking Dead while I did that. It was the second part of the war and was really good as usual. 

I watched the 4 o’clock news and a bit afterwards, F called to say that he was on his way.  I had to look for something for him, but I couldn’t find it. I went downstairs and got started on dinner. 

Tonight I cooked some pork, made cumin flavoured eggplant, and heated up some chichimi that we bought last night and then put out the salad that we bought too. Dinner was pretty good. I did get smart tonight, I kept out a couple of pieces of pork so that I could give K something for lunch tomorrow. I kept a piece of chichimi too. 

I did the dishes again and tonight listened to the news and then to The Scarlet Pimpernel. I am so enjoying it!

When I was finished in the kitchen I did up the garbage in the kitchen and then went upstairs. 

I did up my garbage in the bedroom (I drink a lot of tea which leaves leaves!) and left the bag open for F to put out his garbage. 

F has been in a bit of a tizzy today. He’s going to the hospital overnight to have a check-up. Companies here in Japan make people have physical checks every few years and because F is at an advanced age (sort of, but not really) he has to have an overnight stay. I don’t think it will be very pleasant. Anyway, he has had to make himself ready to go, which is a bit stressful for him.

So, tomorrow night I’ll be doing dinner with K alone. I’ve already bought stuff for it. I decided that I was getting mostly ready-made stuff for us as I just don’t want to spend three hours in the kitchen tomorrow night. Wish me luck with that!

I had a shower tonight and I think F took one too. I did a bit of crochet during my TV programme. The scarf I am making for F is going quite well. I’ve finished the first bag of yarn, so I am on my 6th ball now. I might have bought too much, but you never know! 

And that’s about it for my day. I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to get up to by myself tomorrow, but I’m excited about it. Come back later and find out. Until tomorrow….
