Saturday - Hot and sunny, some rain later on. 

I set my alarm to come on fairly early this morning because F had an appointment with his car dealership. It is maintenance time and he was planning to have a drive camera installed too. He made his mother some breakfast and then the two of us were off. 

At the dealership, F and the staff discussed what was going on, but for some reason, they couldn’t do the install today. However, they wanted to replace his battery or something? We left them to it and walked over to the nearby restaurant, Coco’s and had brunch. I had the Jambalaya and F had plain chicken without rice. The doctor at the health check suggested that he cut down on carbs. Tee hee hee! He wants to cut down on rice, I don’t know how long this will last though. It didn’t last for a long time the last time it happened. 

We went back to the car place and F paid and then we went off. I wasn’t sure where we were going to go, it was around 2 in the afternoon I think. F just started driving. I expected that he’d go back to the house, but didn’t. We drove out to Asahi and had ice cream before driving back towards Tsuruoka.

 We ended up going to Oyama. I needed a washroom break, so we went to a drugstore and ended up getting a lot of shopping done there. I’m sure we didn’t have to spend quite so much so I could spend a penny!

We drove out to the beach and F found a place to park. We walked a little bit along the beach, but it was fairly busy today so I didn’t want to stay that long. It was lovely to be out near the beach again.

We drove back into Tsuruoka and hit up a grocery store to get a nice bento for K. We got her something nice and picked up a few other things for the house. 

We relaxed a bit at the house and then went out for our dinner. I had suggested a couple of places and F picked Youme Shokudo. He had fish there and I had a mapo veggie thing. I liked it a lot today as it was a touch spicier than last time. 

We came back to the house and just vegged. F is sleeping now and I’m still up, but I really should get to bed soon.
