Tuesday - Overcast but warm
I got up this morning when my alarm went off. I was rather surprised that the alarm went off, I was in the middle of a dream that I can’t remember of course.
I had my usual morning, except I did try and get up a few minutes earlier than usual. I had breakfast and then realized that I would have to have lunch in about 25 minutes! Good job I didn’t eat a lot today.
I had lunch too and it was nice. Afterwards, I started getting ready for work. I changed my idea about what I was going to wear, and put on an older shirt instead. I had to set up the room for my classes and then when the time came, I went online and taught my lessons.
Afterwards, I had to put everything back where it belonged and then did my paperwork. I relaxed for a while and then F called to let me know that he’d be on his way in a few minutes.
When I went downstairs I did my dishes from the day and then got a start on dinner. Today I had to wash some lettuce, so I did that. I also took the leftover veggies from yesterday and chopped them up. I added in some chicken consommé and some mushrooms. I then put three eggs on the top and put a lid on it to cook them.
It turned out okay. I think adding some tomatoes or tomato sauce would have made it taste better, but then I wouldn’t have been able to eat it so no big deal. We had that with some sliced chicken breast, the salad and some gobo salad that I bought from the store. I even made up some dessert afterwards.
I think dinner was okay. It tasted a lot better than it looked!
Afterwards, I did the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen a bit. I prepared some of the garbage to go out tomorrow…tomorrow is the day for aluminum cans and there’s a ton in the kitchen. F also has a lot upstairs, so I let him know too. It is only every other week, so best not to leave these things for two more weeks.
A little after 9, F and I went to the grocery store to buy some food for tomorrow and Thursday. I got some chicken and some veggies to do a stir-fry. I hope it goes well. There wasn’t much stuff at the store for cooking, and no pre-made stuff for K’s lunch. Sigh.
We came back to the house where we put away the groceries and I came upstairs. F came up too and then went out again! He came back bearing beer for himself and an ice cream for me, so I mostly forgave him!
I’ve just had a quiet evening in tonight. I watched some YouTube and caught up on my favourite channels, and I’ll likely get to bed in a few minutes. I don’t have any major plans tomorrow, but I should prepare the next lessons for my students. I don’t want to do everything at the last minute in case I don’t have time, or F takes a day off or something.
