Thursday - Sunny & Warm
I woke up rather early this morning, went downstairs and then fell back asleep. I turned off my alarm when it rang first, and stayed in bed for rather a long time!
I got up a bit earlier than I usually do and read my blog and watched some YouTube too. I had breakfast and then got on with my day. I had lunch and even was nice enough to leave a few things for K to eat too. F called me halfway through the day to tell me that he’d booked me an appointment for my Booster shot. Whew! It’s early in April.
I worked on my classes and did up my paperwork from Tuesday. I prepped another lesson in case we go farther than I think on Tuesday. While I was working, I got a text from F saying he’d ordered food for K and me for tomorrow night. I also noticed that a friend had just texted me and asked if we could video chat. Woot! I texted back and asked for a few minutes to finish up my work and then I’d be able to join her.
We were able to chat for a while and it was lovely! I forget that I can do that, chat with people that want to. It was so nice that she asked.
F didn’t call until quite late today. He was nearly here when he called. I went downstairs to get started on dinner. Tonight I made baked potatoes in the microwave and the air fryer, air fried some shrimp croquettes and heated up some pumpkin soup and mixed up the salad. I was a tad late getting the potatoes done, they seemed to take forever. I think I probably didn’t have the air fryer at a high enough temperature.
Dinner was pretty good. We ate nearly everything. F had wanted to go to the onsen tonight. He did ask me to come, but I really had a lot of dishes to do and I knew I wouldn’t be done in time for him to have a bath. I sent him on without me. I finished the dishes just a few minutes after he left and then went upstairs and changed my clothes so I could leave when he got back.
F called me from the onsen and I told him that if he called me when he came to the house I would come downstairs and he didn’t have to come inside to get me. He did call and I went down to meet him.
We went off to MaxValu and did a little shopping. I picked up some snacks for tomorrow night and a salad for my lunch. I made F get his mother something for her lunch and something for his breakfast too.
We came back to the house and I put the few real groceries away. We came upstairs and had a quiet evening in.
Tomorrow I’m on K duty. F has an overnight party with his friends, so I’m looking forward to enjoying myself and maybe watching a movie or some Apple TV. I’ll have to see what I feel like then.
