Friday - Cloudy but warmer

I woke up while F was getting ready to leave for work this morning. I was glad since I wouldn’t see him later on as he was going to a party right after work. I said goodbye to him and then he went off.

I had a little bit more sleep before I woke up. I watched some of the news, then the news from early in the morning. I did nap a little but was up earlier than I usually am.  I did three loads of laundry this morning and afternoon, and I had my breakfast too. I saw K and told her it was okay for her to have the bento we bought for her last night. 

I went back upstairs and had a quiet morning and afternoon too. I did get a laugh when F texted me and said that the restaurant called him and said they were out of tuna and were going to send me a Natto-donburi instead! Silly man!

I went downstairs around 5:45 and did my dishes from the day. I waited for the food delivery and when it came, paid the guy and then set up the table for K and me. We had a tekka-don and it was very nice. Raw tuna prepared three ways, large slices, chopped small pieces and tuna chopped into a paste. We also got chawanmushi and soup.  K and I ate, along with some mugi-cha and had a lovely meal. I really enjoyed it, I think she did too. She ate everything so I think she did!

I cleaned up and then went upstairs and relaxed for the evening. I had a shower and then watched a couple of fun little programs off the DVR. I’d been planning to watch a movie, but it’s late and I do have to be up early in the morning, so I doubt that I will. 

Of course, today was also the 11th anniversary of the big Tohoku earthquake. It’s put rather a damper on the day. K had her TV on in the afternoon and I could hear that she must have been watching the news about the anniversary. The TV had sirens on and they brought back all the memories. On last year's blog of this day, I had posted a link to an international version of the earthquake song and I watched it again today. I teared up immediately. 

Tomorrow I have a few things that should happen. F and I have doctor’s appointments in the morning and I’m hoping that we can go and see a movie in the evening.
