Tuesday - Cloudy and a bit rainy
I woke up early again this morning. I went downstairs and then came back upstairs and went back to bed. I might have woken F up, I wasn’t sure.
F woke me up when he was getting dressed and asked me to phone his phone. He didn’t know where it was…happily, he found it after it rang. I went back to sleep and then woke up around 8 as usual. Unfortunately, I didn’t get up then! I slept in a bit late but did eventually get up.
I had a quiet morning and early afternoon. I had my lunch around 11:30 and then started to get the room ready for my classes. I put the table up and moved over my computer, the usual things. When the time came, I taught my lessons and think that they went well. When I finished, I did everything in reverse!
I watched the 4 pm news which I had recorded and during that, F called to say he was on his way back. I ended up going downstairs to get ready for dinner.
Today we had some pre-made hamburgers that I had to boil in a bag, we had some spicy rice mixed with regular rice. It was still horrible. I did a cabbage and mushroom stir-fry that I found online (yum) and I also did some hash browns and croquettes from the freezer. Oh, and there was a salad too. Basically, there was a ton of food and it was pretty darn good. Neither K nor F wanted seconds though, that was disappointing. Oh well, their loss.
I got to do all the dishes and stuff again. That’s fine and all, but I still don’t understand why K doesn’t help bring things to the kitchen for me. At the moment, F can barely walk so I don’t expect him to, but she just sits there like a queen. On the other hand, I probably wouldn’t like how she’d bring the dishes, so I should just shut up about it!
It took quite a while tonight to do the dishes as there were a lot, but they did get done. After finishing them, F and I went out to get a few groceries for the next couple of nights. F was kind of grumpy in the store and it was hard to get him to give me straight answers about anything.
When we came back to the house I tried talking to him in the car but he got a bit mad at me because he was listening to the radio. Pardon me, I thought he might actually want to talk to me! But no.
I went into the house and let him carry in the groceries. He bought all the heavy stuff anyway. I put away the groceries with some interference. I stomped off upstairs when I was done.
I had a fairly quiet evening in. I watched Clarice again and then turned off the TV. F had fallen asleep on the bed, so I went over to try to get him to go to bed. He did finally! We had a nice few minutes together.
And that was about it for my day. I watched a bit of YouTube as I didn’t watch any last night. I’ll go to bed fairly soon as I am quite tired. I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow night so please come back a bit later and find out what I decide on!
