Tuesday - Cold but sunny
I woke up this morning when my alarm went off. I got up, went downstairs and then watched the news from the bed. I think that F went downstairs and made his mother something to eat.
After a while, F went out and took his mother to the onsen. While they were gone, I had my lunch and started to get ready for my classes. F and his mother came back and I was a tad nervous that he’d stay around, but he didn’t.
He went off somewhere…oh I think he took his mother out to her doctor….and they were there for a while.
On the other hand, I finished moving the furniture around the room and changed my clothes. I got ready for my class and when it was time I dialled in.
Things went fine and after the second one finished I hung up and did everything in reverse. A little while later, F came back from his doctor and came up to the room.
I had some relaxing time and so did he. He was a bit worried about making dinner tonight. He wasn’t able to get hacksai last night, so I suggested just using the cabbage that was left in the fridge. It is the same basic thing really. I told him if he needed help to ask for me but he didn’t.
After a little bit more rest on my part, I went downstairs and did help him a bit. I could and did carry things to the table and make the odd suggestion for him.
F made a nabe for dinner and it was pretty good. I don’t often say that, so it must be true! The cabbage was really good, I didn’t miss the hacksai at all. After we ate most of the nabe, F added some udon noodles and we had udon too.
F put some of the leftovers in a bowl for his mother and then we did the dishes. F washed them and I dried and put them away. There weren’t that many anyway, so it didn’t take all that long. Yay.
After the dishes, we decided to go out to buy groceries. I finally managed to persuade F to stay in the car and let me do the shopping. I went in and walked around the store, did some shopping for the next couple of days. The interesting thing was that I didn’t buy any extras so I managed to get food for us for under 2000 yen! Yay me!
We came back to the house and had a relaxing time as well. I watched Clarice and enjoyed it. The show is growing on me but I’m not sure if it will be continuing or not.
After the show was finished I ended up having a bit of cuddle time with F. That was quite unexpected! He’s off sleeping now and I’m up blogging.
I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. I should get some work done, and I might do that. I also have to cook dinner, so that will be fun too!
