Tuesday - Sunny and warmer

I managed to get myself off to bed at a reasonable time last night so was able to get up today. I slept in a little bit after I watched the news, but was up early later on. 

I had a very quiet morning. I ate lunch and also heard from F. He’d lost his car keys…in our bedroom. He could hear the Tile that he had attached to them, but he couldn’t find the keys. Sigh. He asked me to look for them, but I reminded him that I worked this afternoon.

Speaking of which, I started to get ready around 12:30 for my classes. I wasn’t too motivated today, unfortunately. I just didn’t want to start getting ready. However, I did get everything set up in time and was able to go online a couple of minutes early to chat with the coordinator. She asked me not to come in for the next couple of weeks either. Sigh. 

Classes were fine and I rang off when the last class finished.

I put everything in the room back the way it was and then I made myself a cup of coffee. It was fab! F called me a bit after 5:30 and I stayed upstairs until he got back. When F got back, he didn’t want to know me. He went straight into searching mode and so I left him to get started on dinner.

Tonight I made Steam Shabu-Shabu again and it was really nice. I also used my air-fryer to cook us a croquette each. We had some mushrooms and some very hot (spicy) fried rice. Everything turned out quite well and dinner was good. I had gone upstairs to see if F was coming down to eat. At first, he said he wasn’t, but then he changed his mind and did.

Dinner was good, and it was on the table fairly early too. Woot. Most of the food disappeared, which was nice. I even got to start the clean-up around 8 pm, so I was done before 9 pm. Yay.

I went upstairs when I was done and F was cleaning up and still looking for his keys. I left him alone for a while. After a bit, he asked if I was ready to go and I said I was. 

We went to MaxValu for things for dinner tomorrow and Thursday. We bought quite a few things. After groceries, we went to the gas station for gas, then came back to the house. When I got back to the house I noticed that the gas door thingy was open in the car. He’d forgotten to put the lid back on (in?) and close the door at the station. We’d driven back to the house with it open. 

I put away the groceries and then we came upstairs.  

F and I had a quiet evening and then he finally went to bed. And, nope, he didn’t find his keys yet. Sigh. What the heck F? I watched Clarice and it was okay.

I had a quiet evening and now I’m going to end this and go to bed. I’m not exactly sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. I hope to do some work and maybe catch up on a TV programme if I have time.
