Friday - Didn’t go out….
I woke up this morning when my alarm went off. I got up, went downstairs and then came back upstairs and watched the news from the bed. After it was over I turned off the TV and snoozed for a bit.
When I got up again later, I did three loads of laundry and also grabbed my breakfast. When I opened the fridge, the jug of iced tea I’d left on the table last night, nearly fell out. Someone had taken some of the tea out, left the tea bag in, and put it in the fridge on the door, but just balanced there, not really on the shelf. Ack. There was some tea already in the fridge…why couldn’t she have used that? I obviously removed the teabag and put the jug back in the fridge so it wouldn’t fall out.
I had a very quite day. I watched a bit of YouTube and then later in the day I watched an episode of Yellowstone. I’m getting quite into that show.
F didn’t call me for a long time. I went downstairs before 6 pm and did my dishes. My phone rang while my hands were wet and it was hard to get the phone answered! F was on his way back so I made a move and got things started in the kitchen.
It was Friday Pasta night, and tonight we had some vermicelli with a wasabi mayo sauce. With that we also had salad and I heated up some sausages for us all.
F came back to the house before I started cooking and he went upstairs to rest. I got dinner on the table very quickly and started to set the table. I called F down, but K and I had already sat down and started eating before he got there. Dinner was great and all of the pasta disappeared tonight. The sauce, a bought one, was amazing. The wasabi was a little spicy, but not too much. It tasted great.
Over dinner, F decided that he was going to take his mother to the onsen tonight. While I got to stay at the house and do dishes. It was very kind of him. Snort. He took his mother off and I think they had a nice time.
I finished listening to the last episode of Kermode and Mayo. It was rather sad in a way. I’m hoping that the new version of the show is as good.
I went upstairs and checked my computer then watched the other episode of Yellowstone I had on the DVR. F and K came back soon afterwards.
When my show was finished I took a shower and then came back to the room. It’s funny, I forgot my hair was short again, so I used too much shampoo. I’ll remember next time probably!
And that’s about it for my day. I feel a bit like F and I aren’t really connecting right now. He’s in so much pain all the time that he doesn’t have any patience or regard for other people.
I have no idea what’s going to happen tomorrow. F is planning to go to his doctor in the morning and then who knows?
