Monday - Hot, cloudy and a bit rainy. 

F didn’t sleep that well last night, he was still awake when I went to bed last night. I fell asleep fairly quickly so that was nice.  In the morning, F made a bit of noise but I didn’t really wake up that much. 

I overslept and didn’t wake up properly this morning. I missed the morning news that I usually watch and had to make do with the one from earlier in the day. Still, at least I saw that.

I had a long and relaxing morning where I didn’t do too much. I was still a bit tired from the weekend though. I didn’t see K very much either. I texted with F a bit and he said that he’d try and take time off tomorrow to see his doctor. Good for him. 

I grabbed my breakfast and came upstairs and ate.  I finally decided that I should try and fix the Fire Stick, so I took it out and put it back in. That seemed to do the trick. It started working again. Yay. 

I went downstairs eventually to get lunch. I felt guilty that I hadn’t bought something for K, so I gave her some of the leftover pasta from Friday. I think it was good. I heated it up for her.  I came upstairs and ate my lunch while watching Bake-Off. I love Bake-Off!

I watched the news and when F called a bit later, went downstairs and got started on dinner. I did quite a good meal tonight I think. We had baked chicken, potato wedges, salad, and bean salad, and F had brought us some shu-mei from the store. He picked up some milk for us and a few treats too. 

After dinner, we finished up the tofu puddings that we’d bought at Costco a while ago and then I got started on the dishes. It wasn’t too bad as I’d done a few before dinner and tried to be mindful of how many dishes I needed. 

I came upstairs and relaxed for a bit. I eventually went downstairs and took a shower because I really needed one! I came back upstairs and watched an episode of The Boys. It was funny and scary and as weird as usual.  I turned off the TV afterwards.

I’ve spent some time on YouTube and my phone tonight, but I really should end this and get to bed soon. I think I’m going to read for a bit before I fall asleep.
