Thursday - Sunny but a bit cool

I went to bed a little late last night. I read a little and then turned off my phone and went to sleep.

This morning, I woke up when my alarm went off. It was a little later than normal for me. I went downstairs and then came upstairs and got dressed. I watched the news on the DVR and then took a nap. 

When I woke up, I went downstairs and took some clothes with me to throw in the washing machine. I did a couple of loads today. Yay for clean clothes!

I had a quiet morning. I watched some YouTube and hung up my clothes. I went downstairs to grab lunch after a bit and while I was preparing it, F called me. He said he was on his way to the house. He offered to bring ice cream.  I said it was fine, but please bring some for his mother too. I was just about to go upstairs when I saw him arrive. I went to let him in, but he got a call at the same time. He handed over the ice cream and went to take his call. I gave his mother one of the ice creams and then I went upstairs. 

F dealt with the call and then came upstairs. I ate my ice cream first and then the rest of my lunch. Sadly for me, F was there for a while. He was driving someone and had to wait for a while before he was ready to go. I had planned to watch the last episode of Killing Eve, but I didn’t want to do it with F there. He always talks to me when something exciting is going on in my show.  I’m mean but it is true.

He finally left, but it was nearly time for the news, so I watched that. It was okay.

I went downstairs to cook dinner near 6 pm. I decided to do a couple of dishes that I’d never done before. Tonight I made egg-fried rice and also eggs with shrimp. We also had salad and some mushroom and bacon sauté. I worked quite hard tonight! I was also a little late serving dinner. Still, it got good reviews and even F had seconds of some dishes. Woot!

I did the dishes and it took a while. I was really tired and drained. As usual, I got to do it all by myself. I listened to podcasts and at least that was fun!

I went upstairs when I was done and changed. F came up a few minutes later, then we headed out to the grocery store. 

I’m just going simple tomorrow night, it’s going to be pasta and cold duck breast and that’s going to be very nice. Or else.

I worked on my ornament again tonight. I still have a few things to do. I watched The Boys again tonight and it was weird and funny. I laughed and winced a lot.

And that’s about it for me. I hope I get to do a bit more laundry and get to finish up Killing Eve. After the last episode, I really need to find out what happens.
