Friday - Sunny in the morning, rainy for the rest of the day and night
I got up a little late this morning, but it was nice. I made a trip downstairs and came back and watched the news. I snoozed after that, but did get up and did a load of laundry. Yay me.
I had another quiet morning and then afternoon, with the exception of doing my laundry. I watched an episode of The Tick. It really just cracks me up!
Did I do any of my column today? No, but I thought about it! A little.
Lunch was good today. I had some of the leftovers from yesterday and they were good. Yum. K didn’t eat hers though. I’m not sure why.
I folded laundry at 5:00pm and then after F called I went downstairs to get a start on dinner. I was just doing a simple one tonight, just pasta and salad. When F came back he asked for a few extra minutes, so I decided to try and do something else with the avocados. I found a spice packet to make a sliced avocado “salad”. I sliced the smoked duck breast I had in the fridge and finally cooked the pasta. I called F down before I sauced the pasta and he actually came down quickly. Woot.
We had a pretty good meal. The avocado disappeared, and the pasta, well, there’s a little left. If it survives til Monday, I’ll have it for lunch!
I did dishes and it didn’t take me ages. I got done well before 9:00pm so I was happy. Later in the evening I took a shower and then came upstairs to watch Bad Sisters. It was really good. I am so enjoying that show!
F went to sleep early on, and I’m up even later than usual. I have no idea what we are going to do tomorrow. F said that he booked himself a massage in the morning. Usually, he drops me off at S-Mall, but I think it’ll be too early for me. I told him that I’d like to have a relaxing morning, so I’ll probably skip S-Mall at least for now.
