Friday - Sunny and warmish

I woke up early this morning and got up, watched the BBC news and then tried to find something else that I was interested in. There wasn’t anything. I did discover that on the non-BS channel, they did have the old “Catch” news a little later so I set the DVR to record it and went back to sleep. 

I had a fairly quiet morning and afternoon. I did a couple of loads of laundry and hung them up in my room. I had lunch a little later than usual, came upstairs and watched some YouTube and relaxed a bit.

I went downstairs a bit before 6 pm and washed my dishes. I hung around the kitchen until I heard the delivery guy and then I paid him and put the meal on the table. They didn’t send us chawanmushi this time because of bird flu. Eggs are a bit expensive these days.

K and I ate and the meal, a tuna bowl, was very nice. Around 7 pm I heard another noise from outside and then I knew that the post office was re-delivering my parcel.  

After we finished eating, I did the dishes and then wished K a good night. I went upstairs and watched a bit of YouTube before taking a shower. When I came back from the shower, I decided I’d watch a movie, so I put on Motherless Brooklyn. I’d seen it a couple of years ago and just loved it. I loved it tonight too. F called me in the middle of the movie but it was fine. I think he was lonely and was missing me a lot. 

So, that’s me for tonight. It’s horrendously late and if I’m going to get any sleep I had better get myself off to bed. Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
