Sunday - Sunny and Warm
I slept late this morning. F got up in order to attend a meeting or something, but discovered that he had the date wrong so he went back to bed too.
We both slept quite late although I got up before F did. Around 2 pm we talked about going for lunch, so we went out. We went over to the Bussankan to the tonkatsu restaurant. We shared the Pair Set and it was very nice. After lunch, we went across the street to K’s Denki.
After using the lovely washrooms there, we went to the fan department and looked at fans. After the fan I got 2 years ago gave up the ghost last year, I decided to get the cheapest one I could find. We got one that was cheaper than the one I got last time and doesn’t have a remote control. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles that the last one did, but I’m hoping it’ll last longer.
I wanted a drink, so F suggested going to Komeda Coffee. We did that and spent a nice quiet hour or so there. I had hot decaf coffee and F had an extra big regular coffee. When we finished there, I suggested going to the nearby grocery store, but not MaxValu to pick up something for K’s dinner. We got something and then came back to the house. F gave K her bento and I took the new fan upstairs.
Next up, F and I went downtown. We hit up a drugstore first so that he could get something and then we went to karaoke. We were able to get in right away and spent the next 3 and a bit hours there. It was tons of fun. I sang a lot, probably too much, but I really enjoyed myself. It was great until F decided that it would be a good idea to watch/listen to one of his TikTok programmes while we were at karaoke.
We left a bit after 10:00pm and came back to the house via a convenience store to get some onigiri for F and K’s breakfast.
We got back to the house and relaxed and chilled. It was a lovely day today. I have F for one more day as he has tomorrow off. He does have an appointment in the morning, however, but after that, I’m not sure what we’ll get up to. Come back later if you like and find out about my Monday. Until tomorrow….
