Monday - Sunny and warm

I woke up late this morning, but then again, I didn’t set an alarm, so I didn’t care! F got up and went out to see the dentist. He was out for a while. I got up after a while and got dressed. 

F came back around 12 and was in an odd mood. When I talked about lunch all he wanted was ramen. He was being a complete jerk about it. He said he was going out and didn’t care what I wanted to eat. It was such a horrible change from yesterday when he was so lovely. Finally, I got him to at least agree to take me somewhere that we both could eat. He suggested the restaurant in Kushibiki and I was okay with that. 

We went and basically had variants of the same dish. He had his with a mini ramen, and I just had a full-size egg, fungus and pork stir-fry. Mine came with soup and was okay. We didn’t talk at all during the meal, it was very unfriendly.

We came back into Tsuruoka and F wanted to head for the house. Instead, I suggested/demanded that he take me to the grocery store so that I could do the shopping. He begrudgingly did.

I went shopping and I got some food for the next couple of days for all of us. I spent within 200 yen of the amount that F gave me!

We came back to the house. I put the food away and then went upstairs. F did more of the TikTok thing (barf) and I think finally took a nap. I watched some YouTube on my computer and even an episode of Supernatural. 

After 7:30 I suggested going for dinner. I was a little worried in case F was going to be a jerk again, but he wasn’t. He asked me where I wanted to go so I suggested a couple of places but pushed Cocos more.  

We drove over there and had an okay meal. F had curry and rice and I had grilled chicken and veggies and a side order of a baked potato with cheese that was very nice. We had drink bar as well, I brought us drinks, even though I didn’t want to!

We came back to the house after the meal and I did up the plastic garbage in the kitchen. I noticed that K hasn’t been cleaning the bento boxes that we bring her. I think she’s trying to, but they are really dirty still. I’ll have to wash them tomorrow.

I took a shower tonight and then came upstairs and watched a couple of shows on Apple TV. First up I watched The Reluctant Traveller in which Eugene Levy went to Tokyo. It wasn’t bad. I often feel embarrassed when I watch shows that visit Japan because they seem to emphasize the weirdness rather than the normal things. After that, I watched the first episode of the second season of Schmigadoon!. It was okay. I didn’t love it yet. I did enjoy the first season so I’ll watch a little more I think.

I turned off the TV when I finished the last show and put on some YouTube. Blogging came after that too. I’m basically done now. I’m not sure what I’m going to do tomorrow. I’m going to worry about that tomorrow!
