Monday - Warm and sunny

I woke up this morning when my alarm went off. I turned on the TV and started recording before I went downstairs. Sadly, NHK has changed the way they do news again. It’s very annoying. I watched the rest of the news, but most of the broadcasts were in non-English languages. I snoozed as usual, but I woke up fairly early.

I grabbed breakfast, ate, and watched a few videos on YouTube. After a while I got so sleepy. I was falling asleep on my chair so I decided to go and take a nap for a while. It wasn’t long, but it did help.

I had a quiet afternoon. I grabbed my lunch later on and came back and watched the news. The sad thing was that my usual 4 pm news is now on at 2 pm. I guess they don’t want me to watch it anymore. Sigh. Maybe I watch too much news anyway.

F called after 5 and said he was on the way. He also said that he might have to work on Saturday. It would be okay, but we have doctor’s appointments then. Sigh. I hope that things work out.

I went downstairs and got started on dinner. Tonight I took a big batch of plastic bottles down and crushed them and added them to the bag in the kitchen. I washed dishes and tried to straighten up the kitchen. Between K and F it was a big mess.

I got dinner started. Tonight I did chicken drumsticks in the air fryer, mushrooms, potato salad (from the store) and salad. F and K had rice with their meals too. Oh, and we finished up the radishes too. Dinner got high praise tonight. Yay!

I did the dishes and was even done a bit before 9 for a change. Hurray for that. I went upstairs and relaxed. After 10 I went downstairs again and took a shower and came back upstairs. I watched the second episode of The Power and liked it a lot. I’m curious to see where it goes.

I worked on my blanket today too. In the afternoon, I made another ball of yarn and tonight I did two or three rows of stitching on the blanket. It is so heavy. I need to finish it soon!

And, that’s about it for me. Tomorrow I have to do a few chores and cook dinner again. We should be having tacos so I hope that goes well. F is still a bit under the weather so I hope that he will be able to eat dinner tomorrow night.
