Wednesday - Muggy and warm
I got up a little early this morning so that I could start the DVR. I did that and then went downstairs. K wasn’t around this morning.
I came back upstairs, watched the news and got dressed. I took a little nap, but around 10 am I heard the doorbell. I thought it was probably F’s sister, but went down anyway. I realized that it was a postal worker so I opened the door. I got a package. I had hoped it was the one I’m waiting for from my sister, but it wasn’t. It was from another friend that I haven’t heard from in ages.
I took the package and went back upstairs. I didn’t open it as I went back to sleep for ten minutes. I woke up about an hour later. Oops!
I got up and stayed up, grabbed breakfast and then came upstairs and ate. I relaxed for a bit and had a quiet afternoon. I ate lunch fairly soon afterwards, probably too early. I wanted to watch the news at 2 pm. I missed some of it.
After watching the news and eating lunch, I watched last night’s episode of Yellowstone. It was really good, but I have questions! I don’t know anyone else that watches it so I can’t ask. It was quite violent at the beginning.
I did some stuff on my computer and then F called to say he was on his way back. I went downstairs to start dinner.
Tonight I did toaster-oven chicken again with pan-fried Brussel Sprouts, pilaf and salad. Everything turned out nicely. I also served up the rest of my cake from the hotel in Yamagata.
After dinner, I did the dishes and then did up the garbage in the kitchen. I was quite tired by the end. I went upstairs, but before I did, I told F I was going upstairs.
When I came upstairs, I spent a couple of hours writing a message to the friend that sent me the package. She sent a lot of cool stuff from Britain like chocolate and even a trifle kit! Ooh, I’m excited about that one!
F came up and I realized that it was really late already! I didn’t watch anything off the Fire Stick tonight. Darn.
I also made an appointment today to have a haircut on Friday. I’m looking forward to that.
