Sunday - Clear but then rainy and windy at night
I woke up for the first time around 9 am. I went downstairs and then came back to bed and slept longer. F was wrapped up like a burrito next to me so I just left him alone! I went back to sleep and didn’t wake up for a while. My first alarm went off around 10:30. I saw that F was still wrapped up like a burrito so I snoozed for a bit. And didn’t wake up properly until much later. When I did wake up, I tried to pat F’s back and then I realized that he wasn’t in bed anymore! He’d just made a burrito looking thing of his quilt before he got up! I found up tonight that he’d been up since 9!
I got up and dressed and waited to see what was up with F. I knew he had a massage booked, but I wasn’t sure when. I was hoping that we’d have lunch together before it. However, that wasn’t to be. He came up to the room at 2 pm and asked me if I was ready to go! His appointment was at 2:30.
He dropped me off at S-Mall and I went in. I decided to eat first today, so I went to the grocery store and bought myself a bottle of Darjeeling tea. Next up I went to Pizza Hut and had a Pizza Melts of cheese gratin. It was very nice. I enjoyed my meal and was quite stuffed at the end.
I did a little shopping in the hundred yen shop and then F called me to say he was on his way. I told him I’d meet him at Doutor as soon as I paid for my stuff.
I paid and then went downstairs. I saw F come back from Doutor from the escalator so I waved and he met me at the foot. We went back to Doutor and I got him to get us a table while I ordered for us. F had a coffee and a sandwich, I had a rooibos tea.
We left Doutor and went to do some shopping. We went to the grocery store and I went in to get some food for the next couple of days. F was a bit put out that I didn’t want him to come around with me, but I never end up getting what I need when he does!
We hit up the gas station to get some kerosene and then visited Yamaya briefly. F got himself some beer and I was there for some herbs. They didn’t have exactly what I wanted, but I got a few things anyway.
We came back to the house and F made his mother her dinner. I came upstairs and watched a bit of YouTube. After a bit, F came upstairs and asked if I was ready for dinner and where I wanted to go. I just rolled my eyes and said I could wait for dinner. I did ask if he wanted to do an earlier suggestion of his about tonkatsu. A few minutes later, he asked if I’d like to go for some and I said yes. We went to Hiraboku and had the same basic food. We enjoyed our meal there and had seconds of miso soup and cabbage. I think F had rice too.
I thought we’d just go back to the house after our dinner, but F took us on a bit of a drive. We stopped into a drugstore that we don’t usually go to. I did a bit of shopping. I remembered that I needed detergent, and also that I needed to buy eggs. I’ll need three for tomorrow’s dinner. We picked up a few more things and then did drive back to the house.
We went upstairs and I put on my PJ’s and then decided to watch some stuff off the Fire Stick. I watched an episode of The Closer and then one of Ted Lasso. I turned off the TV after that.
F went to bed a little after midnight, but we did have time for a little close up chat and cuddle. That was nice.
F is back to work tomorrow and I’ll be back on house duty. It’s a bit cold here, but not nearly as cold as it is back home. My weather app says there was a low of -38°C today. That’s bloomin’ cold.
