Thursday - Warm and clear

I woke up this morning when F was getting ready for work. I said a sleepy hello to him and then went back to sleep for a while. I went downstairs and then came back to the room. I went back to sleep again. 

I dragged myself out of bed after a bit and then I got dressed and went to get my breakfast. I came back upstairs and watched some YouTube while I drank tea.

I had a fairly quiet morning and early afternoon. I watched the news and then went downstairs and took down my Christmas tree. It took quite a while and I had a hard time remembering where to put the actual ornaments! I also had to take everything to the garage and up to the second floor. That was a bit of a pain. I hate going upstairs in the garage as the stairs are really steep.

Back in the house, I grabbed my lunch and then took it upstairs to eat it. I watched the news and ate my bagel and salad and enjoyed them a lot.

F came back around 6 pm and he was a nice guy and made some dinner for his mother. After that, we went out to have dinner. F suggested a restaurant on the other side of town and it was fine with me. We went over to Voice and had dinner at Tai.  I think they were just closing as we arrived, but they said that we could come in. Yay. We both had curry and it was okay. F had a regular curry with a pork cutlet, and I had wine and cheese curry with a chicken cutlet. 

We hit up a grocery store. I stayed in the car as I didn’t want to go in and get yelled at again. I was much happier that way. I put a podcast on the car stereo and enjoyed my solitude in the car. 

We returned to the house and I came upstairs, filled up the kerosene tank in the heater and then watched some YouTube again. Around 10:30 I went downstairs and took a shower.

I didn’t watch any TV tonight, but I hope to do so tomorrow if I feel like it. When I finished my shower I came back upstairs and F quizzed me for the questionnaire that we have to fill out for the flu shot that we hope to get tomorrow. We’re not sure if I’ll be able to have it due to my cold. Japanese doctors tend to be quite conservative, which I understand too. 

Anyway, that’s about it for me. Depending on how I feel and if the doctor does agree to give me the flu shot, I may or may not feel like posting tomorrow night. I’ll try, but you’ll have to understand if I am not able to!
