Monday - Sunny and warm
I woke up this morning around 8:30. I went downstairs, and then came back up and got dressed, and yes, I did the go back to bed bit. I got up a bit later and grabbed breakfast and watched some YouTube and the news.
I ended up going back to bed for another snooze before I got up a bit later. It was warmer today, so I did a couple of “house” things. I changed the towels downstairs and I also swept the stairs. I haven’t done it in ages and they were so dusty. Now they look quite nice. I don’t think F even noticed though.
I grabbed a late lunch and then came back upstairs and watched the first half of The Great British Sewing Bee finale. I have to watch the second part soon. I also did a little bit of work on my column. Finally! I watched the news and after F called to say he was on his way, I got changed and went downstairs.
Tonight I made a stir-fry for dinner. I think it was really nice, but neither K nor F had seconds. I didn’t either, but I wanted to! It took a little long so we didn’t eat until nearly 7:30. Sigh. After we ate, I got to clean up again, and did the dishes. I finished around 9 pm. I went upstairs, filled up the kerosene heater and then I relaxed for a while. I came back downstairs to take a shower around ten thirty and then headed back upstairs to watch Project Runway. I was a little sad about who got sent home today, but it was fine really.
And that was my day. I’m hoping that I can get some more of my column done tomorrow. I also have to cook dinner and pick up some more food for the family. Come back later if you like and hear all about my Tuesday. Until tomorrow….
