Wednesday - Cool but sunny

I woke up early this morning and made a trip downstairs. I came back upstairs, sorted my laundry and then went back to bed for a while!

I slept longer and then got up and took some of my laundry downstairs and put it in the washing machine. After that, I grabbed my breakfast and came back upstairs to eat. I did a couple of loads of laundry today and they are hanging up in the room!

I had a fairly quiet day up here. I didn’t see much of K today, but I did get a text from F asking me to measure the table in the living room for his fish tank. Both of his old tanks leak and he’s got a different one from a co-worker. However, it might leak too. I asked him why he didn’t just go and get a new one? Save himself the hassle. However, I am not into his fish at all. I wasn’t here when he got these ones and I would have tried to talk him out of it. I hate having fish…my parents had them and they were horrible. I didn’t like them then either. 

I got my lunch and brought it upstairs. I watched an episode of Fringe as well and it was great.  After I finished that, and the news, I watched Saturday’s episode of FBI. It was quite good. 

F called to say he was coming so a little later I went downstairs to get started on dinner. I was making a stir-fry again, but this time I used chicken instead of pork, and I had bought a stalk of celery last night and put that in too. 

F was late coming back, so I took a little too long to prepare things. However, I did have dinner on the table a little bit after 7 pm. I think the stir-fry was good, but neither F nor K had seconds. Oh well. 

I did the dishes, listened to my podcasts, and then did up the burnable garbage. I went upstairs and then relaxed for a while. I was tired! F came up and asked if I was ready to go out but I wasn’t sure what he meant. He had to go out to pay a bill at the convenience store. I stayed here, but asked F to get me something nice!

When he came back, he gave me some ice cream, which was a nice little treat! I ate it quickly as I’m sitting near the heater and it was going to melt if I didn’t!

I took a shower and then came upstairs and watched a new show on Apple TV+ called The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin with Noel Fielding. It was okay, but not great. I’m not sure if I’ll watch more or not. 

And that’s about it for my day. 

Tomorrow I’m planning to go out in the afternoon. There’s a movie at the local cinema that I’d like to see and then I’ll probably go to the mall and do a little shopping or whatever.  F and I might go out in the evening, it depends on how he is feeling after he finishes work tomorrow night. We’ll see.
