Monday - Hot and sunny, rainy in the morning
Today was a mostly quiet day. I needed it after the weekend. I went to bed a little early last night and was hot, so I just used my towelket. F had left his quilt on the bed and it was pushed into my part of the bed. When I went back to bed, I pushed it closer to him. I didn’t have room on my side. F woke up when I came to bed and said that he was cold. I asked him why he didn’t use his quilt then. He was surprised that it was HIS quilt on the bed!
This morning I woke up when F was getting ready for work. I had to go downstairs, so I did that and even said goodbye to F before he left.
I went upstairs and went back to bed. I slept in quite late. I didn’t mean to sleep as late as I did, but on the other hand, I wasn’t mad about it either.
I got up and went downstairs to get my breakfast. I came back upstairs and ate. When it was time for the news, I decided to watch from the bed. After it was over, I finished reading a book on my phone. It was quite a smutty novel but quite fun.
I went downstairs a few minutes later and then I heard the front door open. F was back! He’d had to drive to Yamagata city this morning and had just returned. He basically just came to use the washroom then he went back to work!
I had a quiet afternoon. I did a little tidying up around my computer and then went downstairs again to get my lunch. While I ate I watched another episode of The Closer of course. This was one where Brenda nearly was killed by a serial killer. She usually doesn’t get into those situations.
F called me after 5 and said he was on the way back to the house. I went downstairs finally to start getting ready for dinner.
Tonight I was quite busy. I did boiled new potatoes, toaster oven lemon pepper chicken. We had a cucumber pickle and some spinach and salad. I usually just put it out as is, but tonight I added some sliced cucumber to the salad, as well as some shredded cheese and a few croutons. It was quite nice.
The kitchen was really hot tonight and I was sweating a lot. I’m going to have to take a towel down with me to keep dry. I had an Aquarius while I was working in the kitchen. It seemed to help me feel okay.
After I finished cleaning up after dinner, I went upstairs. I watched some YouTube and then after 10pm I went downstairs and took a shower.
I came back upstairs and watched an episode of Loot. It was quite good. I do like that show.
And really, that’s about it for tonight. It’s late and I should get to bed. I don’t have any major plans for tomorrow, but I might do some laundry if I get my act in gear! Or not.
