Tuesday - Hot and Sunny
I think I woke up this morning when F was getting ready to go to work, but I fell back asleep again. I got up after my alarm went off, and planned to come back to bed afterwards. However, I didn’t fall asleep. I was a touch annoyed with myself. Oh well. I was too interested in Facebook and other apps on my phone.
I got up and sorted out some undies and did a load downstairs. I grabbed my breakfast while I was there and went upstairs to eat. I finished my laundry just before the news started on TV. I hung it up and then watched more YouTube. I had a fairly quiet afternoon. I think that K has a cold, so she wasn’t bopping around much.
I grabbed my lunch and came upstairs to eat. Of course, I watched The Closer too. During the show, F called to say he was coming by the house for a while. He came bringing ice cream, which was definitely appreciated. It was so hot up here. If I hadn’t had my fan going I would have melted away.
I gave F some coffee and he relaxed for a bit. The person he was driving was busy for a while. F left around 4pm and I watched the news.
Around 6pm I went downstairs to get started on dinner. Tonight I was making a stirfry and I also made a cucumber side dish. I didn’t do a lot of extra work, but somehow I was a bit late. The dinner was quite good. F had made rice for us and then I set the table. K was in bed before dinner again and she went back to bed right afterwards too. She isn’t feeling well, poor thing.
I got dinner on the table finally, called F down and he got K up. We had dinner and it was quite nice. There was a bit of leftovers, but everyone seemed to like it.
I did the dishes and then F and I went out to the grocery store. F came in again and I really wish he wouldn’t. I know it is silly, but he takes off with the cart or he follows me so closely that it is annoying. So tonight, I strolled along the meat area, looking for something that I could make for dinner and F followed me, then, when I turned around to go back to the beginning, he followed me again. Aaaahhhh. I know it is silly to complain but I find it much easier to shop on my own. And then, when we got to the checkout counter, there were a few things that I didn’t plan on buying in the basket. There were things like a big carton of sake and a packet of instant noodles. Hmm. I might have liked to buy some snacks for myself but I wasn’t given the chance. On the other hand, I probably wouldn’t have anyway.
We came back to the house and put away the groceries. F put some of them away so I hope I can find them tomorrow!
We came upstairs and I put on the TV for a change because there was a Josh Groban concert on WOWOW. I had recorded it, so I’ll go back and watch the end of it tomorrow because I changed the station to watch something else! Yes, I watched tonight’s episode of FBI: Most Wanted. It was quite a good one.
And that’s about it. I’ll be going to bed fairly soon. Last night I was a little cold in bed with just my towelket, so today I put my crocheted blanket from the apartment on my side of the bed. I hope it helps.
To be honest, I’m a little worried that I might have caught K’s cold from her. My throat is a little sore and I’m worried that I’m going to get sick. Not what I want to happen. Grrr.
