Wednesday - Hot…so hot…

I did wake up when F left this morning, but happily, I could just fall asleep again. Yay me. I woke up again when my alarm went off. It was 9am and it was already 25 degrees Celsius in the room. Oh goodness. I went downstairs and then went back to sleep. I actually felt quite bad. My throat was really sore and I was overly tired still. 

I got up a couple of hours later, grabbed my breakfast and came back upstairs to eat. I watched some YouTube and then went over to the bed to watch the news. After that, I realized that the room was now at 30 degrees, so I decided enough was enough. I turned on the air conditioner. I didn’t have it cool down really cold, just a little more reasonable temperature. 

I brought up my lunch and then ate. Yes, I watched another episode of The Closer. This one was about a murder in Chinatown, and Brenda’s parents were in town too. It was funny in parts.

Later, F called to say he was on his way back so I went downstairs to start making dinner. Today I made taco rice. I made the taco mix and earlier in the day, I had set up some yogurt to strain. There wasn’t any sour cream in the store so this was a good alternative. K got up a few times while I was cooking so I gave her some Aquarius (a sports drink). She’s walking like a very, very old lady at the moment. I’m worried that she’s dehydrated. 

I asked F when he got back to turn on the AC in the living room and I left the kitchen door open. It didn’t get really cool in there, but it was better. 

I served dinner a little after 7pm and it went quite well. K had a little bit of food and had some drinks, so that was good. F and I enjoyed dinner quite a bit. I decided that I might make nachos with the leftovers on Friday instead of my usual pasta. We’ll see how it goes!

I did the dishes after dinner and they did up quickly. Then, I had to do up the garbage in the room too. I got it done. I went upstairs and did up my garbage bag too. Usually, we share the bag, but this week I’ve been throwing a few more things out so I couldn’t share. 

F did up his garbage and I think he took it out tonight. It’s sort of a no-no, but everyone seems to do it around here.

I took a shower, came back upstairs, had some decaf tea, and watched much too much YouTube. 

I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. It’s supposed to be hot again, so I’m not exactly happy about that! Come back later if you like and find out. Until tomorrow….
