Monday - Hot and Sunny, muggy

I woke up this morning when F left but I fell back asleep soon. I woke up later and was happy to see that F had turned on the AC for me. It was already hot outside and I would have been sweating without the AC. 

I went downstairs and then came back upstairs and watched a few videos on my phone. I also read a few websites too. I went back to sleep for a little while, but ended up getting up a bit later. I got dressed and went downstairs. 

I got my breakfast and brought it upstairs. I ate breakfast and while I was watching some YouTube I got a visitor. F showed up for a few minutes. He left soon after to go and have his lunch.

I had a very quiet day. It was so hot outside the room that I really tried hard not to go outside the room! Going downstairs to get my lunch was quite uncomfortable! I brought lunch upstairs and ate it while I watched an episode of The Good Fight. It was a good one with a lot of Delroy Lindo in it.  

F didn’t call me around 5:30, so I went downstairs on my own and opened up the kitchen to the living room so that the kitchen would cool a little. I got started on my dinner prep.

I wasn’t “cooking” tonight, but I did make some cucumber pickle, I cut and plated some sausage, I cut some buns, I plated some salads and just generally got things ready to eat. F did call finally, but it was after 6 to say that he had to finish up some work because tomorrow is his day off. He was now on his way back. 

We had dinner a little after 7 pm and it turned out quite well. Not everything got eaten, but most things did. I think everyone enjoyed the food. I know I did. I’m not sure if I’ll ever buy another one of these sausages. I like it, but it isn’t as good as the garlic sausage from Edmonton was.

I got to do the dishes afterwards of course. I didn’t take too long happily as I hadn’t used any pots or pans today. I got them done and then went back upstairs with a can of root beer and some ice. I enjoyed my drink and a while later I went downstairs to take my shower. 

I was quite surprised that F hadn’t come upstairs yet. He was downstairs so I said hello and then I went off and had my shower. Afterwards, I turned off the hot water and then came upstairs again. 

I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and did some of my usual internet stuff.  It’s getting late and I might go to bed soon. The heat is still oppressive and F is trying to go to sleep but keeps muttering things. I find it annoying, but that’s on him!
