Thursday - Snowy, cold and wet

I was a bit late going to bed last night and of course, F woke up. Sadly, he said he didn’t get back to sleep at all. I nodded off but woke up when he was getting ready for work. I gave him my mobile battery for his cell phone since he wouldn’t be coming back here today. Then, I fell back asleep. 

I woke up when my alarm went off and I got up and made a trip downstairs. I did go back to sleep for a bit. Oh well. And I was disheartened to see a bit of snow outside. Sigh. It only stayed on the roofs and not on the road. 

I had a quiet morning, and ate my breakfast, as usual. Around 1:30 I went downstairs and started working on my Christmas Tree. I set it up and then decorated it. It took quite a while of course. I didn’t put all of my ornaments on the tree, but it still looks nice. I might put more out if I feel like it later!

I took my lunch upstairs after decorating and then watched the news. I didn’t have time to watch any of my shows this afternoon.

Around 5:45, I went downstairs and turned on the outside lights and my Christmas tree lights. I hung out in the kitchen after doing my dishes. Finally, around 6:30 our dinner arrived. F had ordered some tempura on rice for us. I paid the guy and then put the food on the table. I had to add some hot water for soup and some drinks as well. K and I had a nice meal. I had to tell her that F was off at his Bonnenkai. I can’t believe that he didn’t tell her. H usually writes it down for her, but he didn’t I guess. 

Dinner! It was very filling.

I texted F a bit about dinner and just to say hi. His food looked very nice at his dinner. 

I did the few dishes after dinner and then unplugged the tree and took some expired batteries over to the gomi station. I said goodnight to K and then went upstairs.

I spent a bit of time on my computer and then at 10 pm I caught the rebroadcast of Grey’s Anatomy followed by The Rookie. Both were enjoyable and the TV went off after I finished. 

Between then and now I’ve been watching some YouTube, playing games on my phone and computer and just relaxing. I might even try getting to bed a bit early, I’m not sure about that though! I’ve heard K bopping around a bit downstairs. I hope she’s not waiting for F to come home tonight. He’s probably been drinking so he shouldn’t be driving. 

Anyway, that’s it for me for tonight. I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. F said he might take the day off as he has some important errands to run so it is hard for me to make plans.
