Monday - Sunny, cloudy, with some rain in the morning
When I went to bed last night, F woke up. He’s been doing that a lot lately. He doesn’t go back to sleep, but I have no problem falling asleep. I worry about him not sleeping enough.
I woke up after F left and after my alarm went off the first time. I went downstairs, came back to the room, set up my hot water pot, turned it on and went back to bed for a bit! I slept a little late, but it was nice.
I got up later, went downstairs to grab my breakfast and then came back to the room. I ate breakfast and watched a lot of YouTube! I relaxed for a while and then I decided to sort my laundry. I ended up doing a load of pants as it has been a while! Summer is coming and I’ll need some lighter materials to wear. Hurray.
I made my lunch and brought it upstairs. I had the leftover pasta from Friday and my usual open sandwiches. I brought lunch and my now clean clothes upstairs. I hung up my trousers and then ate lunch while I watched an episode of the new Kevin Bacon show…The Bondsman. It was good today.
I watched the news and later on F called to say he was on his way back. I went downstairs a few minutes later to get started on dinner.
Tonight we had toaster oven chicken with yuzu pepper coating, rice, salad, potato and pasta salad and some Chinese-style vegetables. It was pretty good, but it didn’t seem to be that popular. I had a lot of leftovers to put away.
After dinner I went upstairs and relaxed for a bit before taking a shower. Tonight I decided to watch Severance as it has been a few weeks I think. I was really surprised to hear the person at the beginning whistle “The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald”, the Gordon Lightfoot song. I crocheted a round of my sweater during the show too.
When the show finished I turned off the TV and got stuck into my computer stuff. To be honest, that’s about it for me now.
I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow, I may do a bit of laundry and I should make a start on my next column. It’s not due for a while, but I should start as next month will be a bit crazy.
