Wednesday - Rainy and cold in the morning, sunny later on, but cold.
I went to bed a little early this morning, and all was well until I rolled over onto my back to go to sleep. F woke up about then. I went to sleep.
I woke up around 5 am and F was sitting at the bottom of the bed. I’m not sure what he was doing, except he wasn’t sleeping! I went downstairs then came back upstairs and went back to bed. F did too, but when I woke up hours later with my alarm, he was long gone.
I had a fairly quiet day. I had thought about going out to a movie, but the weather last night was horrible and I decided to save my money! I did have a visitor when I was still in bed, F popped in for a minute. We chatted for a few minutes.
I did a load of laundry and hung it up in our room. I missed it yesterday as F left his laundry in the washing machine overnight despite me reminding him several times to hang it up.
I didn’t watch any movies today and as I spent some time making a marinade for dinner and putting it on. I came upstairs a little late so I only had time to watch another episode of The Bondsman. It ended with a cliffhanger so I’ll have to watch the rest soon. I hung up my laundry before eating lunch.
F called after 5:20 and said he was on his way back to the house. I waited a few minutes and then went downstairs and got ready for dinner. F came back a few minutes later and we chatted for a while before he went upstairs.
Tonight I made garlic pork with salad, broccoli, and roasted new potatoes. They were so nice! I thought dinner was good, but F didn’t eat much.
I did the dishes afterwards and they took a bit of time. I listened to two podcasts, one the Canadian news and the other a movie podcast. It was DieHard on a Blank…and tonight they were doing The Matrix. They spent a lot of time on it, I’ve listened to this one in about 4 parts, but it was very enjoyable.
After finishing the dishes, I got stuck into the garbage. I was surprised that K hadn’t put out garbage this week, but F found where she’d been hiding it! I did the kitchen and bathroom garbage, plus K’s garbage. I put it in the genkan for F to take out later.
I went upstairs and did my garbage in the room. I normally take a shower on Wednesdays, but didn’t tonight as I’m going out on Friday. I’ll take it tomorrow night so that I can be fresh on Friday!
I watched a little YouTube and then The Irrational again.Tonight was about a plane crash and some of the psychological mind tricks they talked about were cool.
Tonight I suggested to F that he use earplugs at night like I do. They don’t block out all of the noise, they just lesson it. I need it because F is noisy at night. He said he couldn’t use them because he couldn’t use them. Eye roll.
Anyway, that’s about it for me. I didn’t get any of my crochet done tonight. I’m having a bit of trouble with my hands so I didn’t want to stress out my thumbs.
