Monday - Rainy and cooler
I woke up for the first time this morning after F left for work, but before my alarm went off. I went downstairs and when I returned to the room I got my clothes ready for later and then I sorted out my laundry. I got my basket ready to go downstairs and then I went back to bed. I watched some videos on my phone but woke up after one had started again. I put away my phone and then I snoozed for a bit.
I woke up again later and got up. I dressed and took my laundry downstairs and started the first load. I grabbed my breakfast and took it upstairs to eat. I did a couple of loads of laundry today. Yay me!
I had a quiet afternoon. I never really saw K, I could hear her occasionally, but didn’t meet her head on!
I almost was surprised when it was lunchtime, I didn’t feel that it was lunchtime for some reason. I went downstairs and put together my lunch. I brought it upstairs and since I didn’t have that much time until the news was on, I watched an episode of The Big Bang Theory. I like it a lot but it reminds me of staying at my sister’s house. Her family always seemed to have BBT on TV!
F called around 5:30 and then I went downstairs and got started on dinner. F was late tonight. He said that the roads were busy and because of the rain people were driving slowly. It makes sense to me.
Dinner tonight was Toaster Oven Chicken, pepper and garlic flavour (which I couldn’t taste), gobo salad, salad, broccoli and some rice too. It was quite nice and K even had seconds of some things.
I did the dishes after dinner, listening to my favourite podcasts. I got the kitchen tidied and the garbage ready to go out. I went upstairs, I told F I was going up, and vegged a bit upstairs.
I watched some YouTube but fell asleep on it. I woke up when the videos stopped. I was really surprised that I had dozed off in my chair. I went downstairs at 10pm and took a shower. I went upstairs afterwards and decided to watch a movie. Tonight I watched Kraven The Hunter. It was so bad, but in a so bad it is good way. Some of the movie was in Russian and the subtitles were in Japanese but it didn’t really matter. I just made up what was going on! I did a bit of knitting during the movie too.
After the movie, I turned off the TV and went back to my computer. F went to sleep and I am still up for now.
Tomorrow is K’s birthday, so F and I are planning to take her out for sushi to celebrate. At first she seemed happy, but later she told F she doesn’t want to go, she just wants some cake or something. I told F that she can get cake at the sushi place. He does still want to take her out so I hope it is okay.
We’ll probably have to do a little shopping tomorrow night as we don’t have things for breakfasts. Other than that, I’m not sure what will go on.
