Tuesday - Rainy and colder
I did the weird thing again of waking up after F left the house but before my alarm went off. I went downstairs and then I came back to the room. Today I just went back to bed. I watched videos for a while and then fell asleep on them. I overslept a lot later than I meant to but finally dragged myself out of bed. I dressed and went downstairs.
Today I made myself some oatmeal/porridge and brought that upstairs to eat. It was really nice to have something warm and different for breakfast. I might have some tomorrow too!
I had a really quiet afternoon today. I watched a bit of YouTube and checked on some blogs, the usual. I went downstairs to get my lunch at my usual late time. I came back upstairs to the room and watched an episode of NCIS: LA. It was okay. I used to like the show a lot, but it was a few years ago.
F called me after 5 and said he was coming back to the house. When he was on his way, I changed into some nicer clothes for going out. Then, when he arrived, he made a reservation for our dinner at Kappa Sushi. He got K ready to go out and then we drove over to the Sushi restaurant.
We had a pretty decent meal. We ordered some onion rings all round and some fries (K loves both things) and some nice sushi too. When we were finished eating, I suggested getting some cake, so F ordered three pieces of cake for us. It was fairly decent. K seemed happy so that was good.
At the end, F needed the washroom, so he went off. Then, K decided that she’d go too, so she followed him. F finished first and came back to the table. I’d been keeping an eye out for K in case she got lost, but she took a while. We finally saw her and I waved so that she could see us. She’s very slow these days. F checked us out and then went to pay. I did a final check of the table and that was a good thing, as F had left his phone behind! Silly man!
We paid and then came back to the house. We went into the house for a couple of minutes and then F and I left the house. We went over to Mina and I went in (alone-yay!) and bought some groceries for the next few days.
After that, we went over to the MaxValu area and went to the drugstore. I went in again and bought a few necessary things for myself.
We came back to the house and I put away the groceries. After that, I went upstairs. I watched some YouTube for a bit and then watched FBI: Most Wanted. It was a bit of an odd one where the police were the bad guys. I managed to get a couple of rows of knitting done, so that was good!
I went over and spent a couple of minutes with F. He was in bed already and I felt like I didn’t spend much time with him at all today. It was nice.
It’s late again and I should get myself off to bed soon. Tomorrow I’m going to make a stew so I’m going to do some preparation for it in the afternoon. Wish me luck with that.
