Tuesday - Snowy and cold

I woke up this morning before 7 am. F had already left so I’m not sure why I woke up! I went downstairs and then came back upstairs and went back to bed, after I turned off F’s alarm! I left some of my alarms and I woke up a couple of hours later. I made another trip downstairs and then went back to bed again for a little bit. Silly me.

I got up, dressed and went downstairs. I checked the mail and received a lovely birthday card from my bestie. My birthday is next month, she’s just very well organized! I made my breakfast and then made up a couple of dishes for our dinner. I marinated the Coro-Coro steak and set up for an onion boil. I put both in the fridge for later.

I did a couple of loads of laundry and then hung them up in my room afterwards. I finished around 3 pm. I went outside for a bit and did a bit of snow shovelling. It was cold outside. The snow wasn’t deep, but parts were icy so I tried to get rid of the ice. 

I went back into the house and then made my lunch. I took it upstairs and ate. I didn’t have time to watch anything unfortunately. I watched the news and tried not to pay attention to some of it. 

F called at his usual time and said that he was going to run some errands before coming back to the house. That was fine. I went down to the kitchen around 6 and got started on my work. I turned on the heater in the living room, it was about 6 degrees in there. Brr. 

Tonight’s dinner was good. I did heat up my sister-in-law’s curry for us, and we had that with the onion boil, salad, and the coro-coro steak. It was really nice. I did the dishes after we ate and listened to my podcasts which I enjoyed.

I got changed and then F and I headed to the grocery store to pick up something for dinner for the next couple of days. I also got things that are good for the rest of the week. I came back to the car and we came back to the house.

I put away the groceries and then headed upstairs. I spent time on my computer and F made some onigiri for us. It was nice of him but I didn’t need it! I did eat it though. 

I watched tonight’s episode of FBI: Most Wanted. It’s just about finished, the show I mean. I think there’s only one more episode or something. 

And that’s about it for my day. Tomorrow I’ll probably have to go and shovel some snow. The weather is going to be very nasty over the next few days. They are advising people not to go out unless absolutely necessary. Boo!
